Water bills are printed the 10th of each month and are due the 7th of the following month, unless these days fall on a weekend or holiday in which case it will be on the next business day.  If you have any questions, please call.

Reporting Street Light Outages
If you see a street light out anywhere in the city we want to know about it. Detroit Edison also wants to know.  Detroit Edison will replace or repair their street lights when reported to them. To make the reporting process as simple as possible, all you have to do is call City Hall, 269-7681 and ask for Bridget. Tell her where the light pole is and she will take it from there.  She has a direct line to Detroit Edison and she will report the outage. But be patient sometimes it takes awhile for Edison to complete the repairs.

The City of Bad Axe contracts Richfield Management for trash removal.  Trash pick up is every Friday unless there is a holiday during the week, then the pick up is Saturday.  Richfield observes the following as holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.  Please visit Richfield’s website at richfieldmanagement.com for information regarding their services.  Their telephone number is 989-658-2594.  Recyle bins are available at City Hall.
